Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Constant Float iOS app and this website (the "Service"), operated by SoriStory LLC ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use Constant Float, and able to form a binding agreement with us.
2. What Constant Float is
Constant Float is a private, once-a-day self-note app. Each day it generates a short "signal" and offers an in-app assistant ("Constants") that responds to what you write. It is a calm space for personal reflection.
3. Not professional advice
The daily signal and Constants replies are AI-generated reflections for personal, informational purposes only. They are not medical, mental-health, psychological, therapeutic, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete — use your own judgment. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Constant Float is not a crisis or emergency service.
4. Your content
You own what you write. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the Service for you — including sending it to our AI provider to generate your signal and replies (see the Privacy Policy). We don't claim ownership of your notes, and we don't publish or share them.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service — including attempting to breach security, reverse-engineer or abuse the AI, disrupt the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Subscriptions & billing
Some features require a paid subscription (e.g., Constant Float Pro / Family). Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and billed to your Apple account. They auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. Payments, refunds, and renewals are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Prices and plans may change with notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, design, and software (excluding your content), belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms don't grant you rights to our brand or software beyond using the app as intended.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the Service over time; material changes will be surfaced in the app or here. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access, if you violate these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
